HL Civils Ltd was founded by Hendrik Lodewyk in 2007 after the qualified civil engineer moved to England at the turn of the Millennium.

After being trained as a civil engineer in his native South Africa, Hendri spent almost 10 years learning his trade on big projects across the UK, including in London, Cardiff and Ireland.

In 2007, he settled in Suffolk and set up HL Civils Ltd.

Hendri wanted to build a company based on professionalism and trust and the business has steadily grown to become a leading civil engineering firm spanning Suffolk and Norfolk.

Working with a team of reputable and dedicated staff, Hendri only aligns himself with local contractors he can trust to ensure the client gets 100% satisfaction no matter what the job.
